To ensure consistent performance from the balanced armature driver, the unit is secured using an O-ring and packing system rather than conventional adhesive, with rear components tightened by screws so the driver is constantly held in place from back to front. This method creates a strong seal, minimises manufacturing tolerances, and stabilises sound quality. Additional tuning is achieved by connecting a resistor in series with the driver and applying a filter to the rear vent that generates low frequencies.

Final S3000 features specially designed earpieces that use two silicone materials of different hardness levels, with a firmer grooved core for strength and flexibility and a softer outer section for comfort against the ear. This construction provides high sound insulation while maintaining a pressure-free fit. The earpiece shafts are colour-coded for easy left-right identification, grey for one side and red for the other, even in low light by simply tilting the tip to view the shaft. Adjacent sizes also use alternating color shades to distinguish them easily, and five sizes (SS, S, M, L, LL) are included to accommodate different preferences.
