It’s a 32-Bit DAC that benefits from AKM’s Velvet Sound Technology, delivering a silky smooth sound experience. This premium DAC chip is supported by XMOS XU208, a high-performance 8-core USB receiver that enables high-resolution audio. It is capable of decoding 16bit-32-Bit/44.1kHz-384kHz PCM (Pulse Code Modulation), Native DSD64-DSD256 (Direct Stream Digital), and DoP (DSD Over PCM) DSD64-DSD128 signals via USB connection.

TOPPING has designed the DX1 to be widely compatible with your sources. The best part is that you don’t need any additional power adapter for the DX1. Only for Windows ASIO applications; there is a need for driver installation and set-up. Discrete LNRD Circuit For A Jitter-Free Audio Experience

The DAC & Amps circuit's components do produce a minimal amount of noise. To reduce the noise introduced by the USB Power, TOPPING has designed a Discrete LNRD "circuit" (Low Noise Reference Driver). The Discrete LNRD circuit filters out the noise and interference of USB 5V power and provides a stable and clean power supply of ultra-low noise reference level for DX1. Don’t get fooled by the compact size and form factor of the DX1. This compact DAC & Amp houses boatloads of power to drive most of your IEMs and even some headphones. With a professionally designed headphone amp architecture, the DX1 has 6.35mm and 3.5mm single-ended outputs with a power output rating of up to 280mW @32Ω of impedance load.
